Owned by early California antiques expert, Eric Berg, Early California Antiques is dedicated to the exclusive sale of pre-1942 California antiques.
Eric Berg, with his discerning eye and deep knowledge of the period, has put together a fabulous collection of rare and classic period Monterey, Spanish Revival, California and Mexican Colonial furniture and collectibles, as well as transitional pieces from the Middle East.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Roman Coppola, Ryan Murphy, Diane Keaton, Chris Pine, decorators and set designers – to mention a few – are all customers of Early California Antiques. Eric also works closely with designers at Ralph Lauren stocking their stores from Dubai to Palm Springs with early California garden pottery.
Early California Antiques has expanded to a new 4500 sq. ft re-modeled theatre in the heart of the bike district of east hollywood. Built in 1927 and boarded over for the last 20 years, this impressive building has unique deco features and tile facade. We have ample parking now behind our building for designers, collectors and customers as well as convenient parking on both side streets. Located just 2 blocks east of the hollywood freeway we are a stones throw from paramount studios.
Our impressive inventory is constantly changing and evolving. We’re currently active on the V&M design website, as well as our own highly trafficked website which has over 1.7 million hits. We continue to stock our store with the best of; Monterey, Spanish Revival, Spanish Colonial, Rancho furniture, Lighting, Pottery, Fine Art, Vintage Posters, and Advertising.
