Lamosa Ladrillera, Monterrry, Mexico Circa 1940′s
The vellum glazes are creamy and vibrant. We understand that this factory’s output was overseen by personnel who were familiar with California and San Jose potteries and in fact, their tiles are often mistaken for San Jose examples. The designs were marketed in the United States and are today considered extremely collectible due to their beauty and scarcity.
