One of seven pieces in a set (a pair of twin beds, a desk/vanity, a mirror, a bench, a dresser and a side table) acquired from the estate of the original owner, a Kentucky horse woman who had special-ordered it from Barker Brothers. This suite of furniture with its theme of lively cowboys is a departure from Monterey’s usual pictorial designs and ornamentation. Used as guest room furniture the set has remained in really extraordinary condition. Factory fresh almost. The signature of Monterey’s most prized in-house artist, Juan Duran Tinoco, can be found on both beds. Leather covered handles and real rope trim add to the enchantment.
