Welcome to early California Antiques. My new store hours are 11-7pm tuesday to saturday. And gladly By appointment Sunday-monday.I recently moved from My digs in A coep in Pasadena after 6 years. I had no plans to open a new store until I fell in love with the building I currently reside in. I currently have over 1700 sqare feet over 3 floors. My specialty obviously is items found and or made in California /Mexico pre world war 2. I stock mostly original pieces. We are adding items weekly from the inventory to the website. So if you don't see it listed i may still have not put on the website. I stock many vintage mexican/ vintage camp blankets/navajo and other vintage textiles. I also stock a huge selection of authentic American Spanish Revival,Monterey and Monterey style light fixtures. I have a remarkable selection of Mostly California made pottery from Catalina island and los angeles. I have also many Industrial items that blend well with the Monterey and arts and crafts looks to give your interior that Edge. I also stock many Pieces of art, from oils to wood sculpture.
I will have special gallery nights 4 times a year that will focus on different elements of California and art Genres. My first gallery evening was FROM THE ESTATE- SAM HYDE HARRIS. Over 40 original pieces. Ranging from Marquettes to Oils. My next show '' LOST CALIFORNIA'' will feature original black and white photos from California's silient movie age. As well as camping expeditions in the sequoia National Parks, As well as candid shots of Will Rogers On location. Never before images that are all 4 sale.
