This piece from Michoacan, Mexico, forms part of a collection turned down by LACMA as, frankly, a little too shocking for the general public. Late 1940s-early 1950s. Mark on underside is the craftsperson’s name: Angelina Esteban Diego. 12″h x 5 ” diameter.
