Willa Smith (1913-2000) San Diego Waterfront by Old Ferry Landing Near Fish Market Oil on Board P1043

Ever vanishing California: a great glimpse of a working harbor before real estate and prettification covered it all up. A painter whose eye is drawn to the way things are. Very skillful end-of-day painting. A large navy ship is in the distance, the city and the vast California landscape behind, but all we care about is this old pier and the water slapping against the pilings and the sun going down. Art 12 x 16, Framed 18 x 22.
